SourceAmerica to Hold Future of Employment for People with Disabilities Panel Discussion Tuesday in San Diego

Distinguished panelists to offer diverse insights on employment programs, supports and services for people with disabilities

SAN DIEGO, CA (May 2, 2014) – SourceAmerica, a national nonprofit and leading source of employment opportunities for nearly 125,000 people with significant disabilities, will hold a plenary session on the future of disability employment at their annual national training and achievement conference, which has the theme of New Approaches for Changing Times. The session will take place Tuesday, May 6, 9:30-11 a.m. PDT in San Diego, CA, at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.

President and CEO of The Viscardi Center, John Kemp, Esq., will moderate a forum where panelists will share observations on employment programs, supports, and services for people with significant disabilities. Kemp has 50 years of direct experience in disability leadership and service.

Other panelists who will offer diverse insights include Deputy Assistant Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, Eve Hill; Associate Dean at the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University Susanne Bruyere, Ph.D.; and President and CEO of ServiceSource, Janet Samuelson.

The session will feature at least thirty minutes of audience participation as the audience will be able to ask questions of the moderator and three panelists.
