Program Description: The PARC Pre-Employment Determination (PPED) assessment tool uses a comprehensive holistic approach to gather input from multiple sources to produce a realistic job seeker profile based on the following:

  • passions
  • driving forces
  • interests
  • skills
  • abilities
  • life experiences
  • environmental conditions
  • transportation
  • interpersonal issues
  • physical health
  • supports needed and available

The outcome for the job seeker is an employment match that is meaningful, sustainable, and financially satisfying.

Target Group: All NPAs

Outcomes/Results:

  • Individual: successful job matches and employment opportunities for job seekers with disabilities. Meaningful, sustainable, and financially satisfying work employment based on job seekers skills, interests, and conditions for success.

Financial Resources:

  • Start up: Development of tool 
  • Ongoing: Staff to provide, track, and evaluate job matches

Specialized Expertise Needed: Staff or consultant with subject matter knowledge and experience as well as appropriate training skills.
