Cathy Cooke is SourceAmerica's Vice President of Programs, expanding on her prior role as assistant vice president of the AbilityOne Cooperative Agreement Program Management Office. Her purview now includes all program functions pertaining to the U.S. AbilityOne Commission®.
Cathy began her tenure with SourceAmerica in October 2000 when she managed large-scale AbilityOne contracts. She assumed her role as assistant vice president for the Program Management Office in July 2016. Cathy is skilled in contract risk evaluation and mitigation, solicitation and proposal development, and negotiation.
In her role as Vice President of Programs, Cathy will continue to oversee the Cooperative Agreement Program Management Office while incorporating two major Program functions, the goal of which is to create alignment and streamline processes to increase efficiencies. First, the nonprofit agency recommendation process evaluates and recommends NPAs for AbilityOne opportunities.
Second, she will have oversight for the centralized Procurement List Management Team. This team coordinates and validates all Procurement List-related transactions for the AbilityOne Program.
