Practice Description

The Work Services Corporation (WSC) Awesome Card Program recognizes direct labor employees for outstanding job performance.

Resources Needed

Equipment

  • Printer or partner organization to create cards

Implementation Process

  • Awesome cards (the size of business cards) are distributed to WSC managers, supervisors, customers, and government officials who can sign and present the cards to WSC employees when they observe outstanding performance.
  • The employee presents the card to the administration section, which includes it in a monthly drawing for gift cards. 
  • The recognition for great work is as much of an incentive as the gift card itself.
