October 2 is National Custodian Day
By Jason Golden • 10/02/2020
October 2 is National Custodian Day. In most years, this commemoration may not get a lot of attention outside of local businesses or office locations, but in 2020, it takes on a greater meaning. The COVID-19 pandemic has driven this essential part of the workforce into a significant role in keeping the country's critical services in operation. People with disabilities are working in custodial roles in places like federal buildings, courthouses, and highway rest stops -- assuring that these locations remain safe and operational during the pandemic.
For 2020 National Custodian Day, SourceAmerica invites you to meet some of the very people that are supporting the nation's effort to stay on its feet – and to stay safe – during the pandemic.
