SourceAmerica and the U.S. AbilityOne Commission Sign Cooperative Agreement
Washington, D.C. – Today SourceAmerica signed a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. AbilityOne Commission, fulfilling the requirement of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2016, to establish a written agreement between SourceAmerica, an AbilityOne central nonprofit agency and the Commission.
The agreement establishes the governing relationship, roles and responsibilities, key expectations and guidance for SourceAmerica and the Commission in relation to the implementation and management of the AbilityOne Program.
"We are very pleased to enter into the Cooperative Agreement with the Commission. We look forward to continuing our more than 40-year legacy of creating meaningful employment and choices for people with disabilities," SourceAmerica’s President and CEO Steve Soroka said.
