Catherine Meloy, Treasurer
President and CEO, Goodwill of Greater Washington
Catherine Meloy is a member of the SourceAmerica Board of Directors.
Meloy serves as President and CEO of Goodwill of Greater Washington and the Goodwill Excel Center Adult Charter High School. Prior to joining Goodwill in 2003, Catherine had a successful 20-year management career in the radio industry.
Over the past 16 years, Goodwill of Greater Washington has grown to over 900 associates; 20 retail stores and nine government janitorial contracts. In further serving and expanding the mission of Goodwill, the first adult diploma charter high school – the Goodwill Excel Center – opened in August 2016.
Meloy's involvement in the greater Washington business community includes being elected to the Federal Reserve Board of Richmond; sitting on the Boards of Directors of the Greater Washington Board of Trade; Federal City Council; MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Center; SourceAmerica; and the Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board.
Meloy is a recipient of the Greater Washington Board of Trade's "Leader of the Years Award." Washingtonian Magazine honored her as "Washingtonian of the Year" and she was inducted into the American Marketing Association-DC Chapter Hall of Fame. Smart CEO Magazine highlighted Meloy as a Most Admired CEO for her successful organizational turnaround of Goodwill of Greater Washington.
