Katherine (Katy) Neas is a member of the SourceAmerica Board of Directors.

Neas currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of The Arc of the United States, where she strategically supports the national organization with 600 state and local chapters across the country. The Arc is the nation's largest organization that advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc's mission is to promote and protect the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and to actively support their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.

Prior to joining The Arc, Neas served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary and Acting Assistant Secretary in the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services at the U.S. Department of Education. Appointed by President Joe Biden, she advised the Education Secretary on the needs of children and adults with disabilities. Neas also spent 23 years at Easterseals, a leading nonprofit provider of disability and community services. She has extensive public policy experience in early education, special education, employment, and systems transformation for children, youth, and adults with disabilities and their families.

In 2024, Neas was named one of Forbes Magazine's 50 Over 50 women who are making an impact. She holds a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University.
