Rich Gilmartin
Independent ConsultantRich Gilmartin is a member of the SourceAmerica Board of Directors.
Gilmartin spent over four decades of his career working to create employment opportunities for people with disabilities. His focus areas included inpatient rehabilitation services for people with spinal cord injuries, chronic pain, and strokes, and people with mental health disorders, sensory impairments, and other physical challenges.
Notably, Gilmartin helped launch what is now known as Global Connections to Employment. GCE became a significant provider in the AbilityOne Program, operating in multiple states and employing nearly 2,000 people with disabilities in food service, hospital housekeeping, switchboard operations, mailroom functions, and a variety of IT functions.
He retired as President of GCE in 2020 and has since provided consulting services to other nonprofits across the country.
Gilmartin has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and master’s degrees in Psychology and Business Administration from the University of West Florida.
